Which service will we provide you with?
As the selling broker you are responsible for the advice that you give to your client and any product or service that is chosen on their behalf. The Moorhouse Xbroker system will ask a set of questions and will automatically generate a quotation based on the information you supply, you will not receive advice or a recommendation from us, as the selling broker you will then need to make your own choice about how to proceed and which product to choose considering your clients current demands and needs.
The quotation that is generated will be valid for 30 days. After this time we will not be able to guarantee the premium that was quoted and a new quote must be obtained.
Your duty to disclose information
It is your responsibility to provide complete and accurate information in all communication with us regarding the insurance cover. Before the contract is concluded you must disclose to us any fact or circumstance, which is known to you (or which ought to be known to you) which is material to the risk. A fact or circumstance is material if it would influence the judgment when deciding the premium or determining whether the insurance company should take the risk. Should you not act with the utmost good faith or fail to disclose any material fact or circumstance to insurers, insurers may void the contract or reject a claim. Your duty of disclosure to us does not end when the cover commences but applies through the life of the cover and when the policy is renewed.
